Well, I haven't uploaded anything in a loooong time and guess what I found??? ........Another animation!!! Whoo!!! ^w^

This is "Sock Monster", my web animation project from animation 2 last year. I loves it to death because hot damn we only had 4 weeks to put it together, which is INSANE!! xwX;

The other reason is that it's based on 3 of our lovely fuzzy irl kids: Melosa (bun), Chezzie (hedgie) and Xerkie (rat). Sadly, Melosa passed away not long after the concept for this project was born, so it's dedicated exclusively to her. Poor bun. (She came down with a sudden and fatal case of pneumonia

).

This was my best animation all year long and I'm still pretty proud of it...in retrospect, however, I really wish I hadn't used tweens to animate Chezzie sleeping and the sock moving. *sigh* It was a time issue, really...and someday I should fix it. Other than that, my only other beef with it is that I should have made their faces move a lil' with their mouths...but hey, hindsight is 20-20, right?

Oh and in case you're wondering:

Yes, all the voices are me.

Yes, I made my own sound effects (the "pop" is my deodorant *lol*...you'd be surprised how the most unexpected things make the sounds you want, hehe)
