Meme Battle Version 2.0 - Final Project

Okay, so here's another oldie...the final project from my video editing class during my last semester of college! 8D

Before I go any further though, please pay attention:

THIS WAS COMPILATION PROJECT USING SOURCED VIDEO FROM THE INTERNET AND MEMES. THE VIDEOS, STILL IMAGES, AND CHARACTERS IN THIS ANIMATION BELONG TO THE INTERNET AND WERE A REQUIRED PART OF THE ASSIGNMENT. I MAKE NO CLAIM TO THEM AND GIVE CREDIT TO THE INTERNET FOR SPAWNING SUCH WONDERFUL NONSENSE. THANK YOU, INTERNET! 8D

Now then, the goal of this assignment was to integrate sourced video into a project of our own choosing. I decided to work with memes, because they're so much fun and decided to create a pseudo-old-school-computer-game simulation animation. Why not, right? ^w^

The games are supposed to resemble the old commodore 64 era computer games from the '80s - Pacman, Space Invaders, ect.) The characters chosen for each battle came from knowyourmeme.com - Longcat, Pancake Bunny, and Badger-Badger. The Dramatic Chipmunk and Tacgnol make appearances also.

Again, Devin Polaski did his wonderful magic and created all the video game music for the project. He's such a talented musician! ^w^

All in all, this was just a bunch of silly nonsense, really, but I had a lot of fun doing it and my professor found it highly entertaining. And considering the awful amounts of stress and anxiety I was going through at the time, it was a huge relief to be able to concentrate on something light and playful for a change. ^w^
